With Canada’s population expected to grow by 1.2% annually over the next five years, investing in residential REITs can offer stable returns. These investments involve owning or financing income-generating residential real estate, ensuring a steady demand for housing as the population increases.

Shopping malls and bustling storefronts fall under the domain of retail REITs. These REITs own and manage retail properties.
